Course title: C1 Practical beginners P.L.C, S.C.A.D.A and D.C.S Systems.   


Course fee: USD150.         Course duration: 5 days.   Weeks frequency per month: 4


Target group profile:


Designed for practicing senior, junior and aspiring engineers and technicians/ artisans/ semi-skilled in electrical and instrumentation and control, software engineering for PLCs, SCADA and DCS, industrial system administrators, electrical power/ electrical and electronic/ control and instrumentation, process engineers, university and college graduates not working, electrical power/ electrical and electronic/ control and instrumentation university and college students and lecturers, O and A Level school leavers who want to venture into industrial process automation software engineering as a gainful employment course.


Participants’ pre-requisites:


-Practicing professionals as described above.
-O and A level school leavers must have at least 5 subjects passes with C or better inclusive of maths, English and any science subject or computers. At the moment we are not minding about the number of sittings.
-all participants must be able to operate a computer but we also welcome those with limited computers operation
background.

This is a specialized instructor led course with interactive classroom discussions and associated lab exercises by using internet, wi-fi, presentation App software, students laptops and PLC and SCADA software, process simulation smart tools and PLCs. This course is approximately 100% hands-on lab activities.


Course goal and objectives:


-The goal of this course is to introduce PLCs, SCADA, DCS specialized industrial automation software to beginners (students) of STEM, practicing professionals who have never done these courses and the course must act as a refresher to PLCs, SCADA, DCS professionals. This is an entry level to the basic and advanced PLCs, SCADA and DCS courses which STEM students and other professionals in the relevant fields can pursue as high earning specialized life time careers upon completing the advanced level.

-The goal of this course is to get students onto the next level of PLCs, SCADA, DCS specialized industrial automation softwares engineering research, feasibility study conducting, equipment specification, power, instrumentation and networking cables scheduling, loop wiring, cable management system, complete project documentation and PLC/SCADA/ DCS software engineering to students of STEM with C2 and to PLCs, SCADA, DCS professionals who have done C1 and C2 courses before or are exempted for C3. This is the level of PLCs, SCADA and DCS course which STEM students and other professionals in the relevant fields can pursue as high earning specialized life time careers upon completing the advanced level.

Designed for practicing, junior and aspiring engineers and technicians/ artisans in electrical, instrumentation and control, software engineering for PLCs, SCADA and DCS, industrial system administrators, process engineering, mechanical engineering, civil and structural engineering, industrial plant networking, electrical power engineering and electrical and electronic engineering and university and college graduates not working and current students and lecturers in the alluded disciplines, O and A Level school leavers and semi-skilled who have already done C1, C2 and C3 courses and want to venture into industrial process automation software engineering including plant process automation design on industrial networking, PLCs, SCADA and DCS as a gainful employment course. O and A level school leavers must have at least 5 subjects passes with C or better inclusive of maths, English and any science subject or computers. O and A level school leavers, semi-skilled and other professionals who are first time attendees to the software engineering for PLCs, SCADA and DCS design course must have done C1, C2 and C3 courses first.  At the moment we are not minding about the number of sittings. We are currently at the stage of designing practical sustainable Modernized Gold Milling and Photo Voltaic (Solar) Energy Plants at Msasa Industrial Training College and therefore students shall be exposed to real practical environments of designing a real plant in teamwork from a given scope of works. Guidance, monitoring and assessments of students your work shall be carried out by projects design implementation engineering experts. Course duration is 5 days @ USD500.


C10 Practical and theory fiber optics training.


Designed for schools ICT teachers/ school ICT students using internet or those aspiring to use internet in future, practicing, junior and aspiring  engineers and technicians/ artisans in electrical, instrumentation and control, software engineering for PLCs, SCADA and DCS, industrial and general system administrators, industrial plant and general networking, electrical power engineering and electrical and electronic engineering and university and college graduates not working and current students and lecturers in the alluded disciplines, O and A Level school leavers and semi-skilled are welcome. O and A level school leavers, semi-skilled and other professionals who are first time attendees to the Practical and theory fiber optics course must have done C1 and C2 courses first. At the moment we are not minding about the number of sittings to gain 5 O level passes. C12 Practical industrial plant process automation practice for maintenance and new projects.


Designed for practicing, junior engineers and technicians/ artisans in electrical, instrumentation and control, software engineering for PLCs, SCADA and DCS, electrical power engineering and electrical and electronic engineering and university and college graduates not working and current students and lecturers in the alluded disciplines, O and A Level school leavers and semi-skilled are welcome. This course is aimed at improving the efficiency of carrying out fault-finding and new projects in the process plants. Areas to be covered include instrumentation equipment smart and traditional calibrations, process parameters measuring sensors, basic ac variable speed drives configuration and connecting to electric motors, fault-finding on electric motors, basic understanding of PLCs and SCADA control systems, wiring PLCs and VSDs, reading electrical and instrumentation drawings in fault-finding, trouble-shooting using PLCs L.E.Ds (light emitting diodes on PLCs) and graphics on SCADA computers, instruments 2 wire loop wiring, proper pulling, dressing, glanding and terminating power and instruments cables, bridging plant control interlocks and many others.  At the moment we are not minding about the number of sittings to gain 5 O level passes. C14 Practical and theory control and instrumentation trade tests preparations (all classes).


Designed for employed and unemployed control and instrumentation semi-skilled individuals who have the industrial practical experience but lacking theory and certification in stages to become class one technicians. O and A Level school leavers are also welcome and will get the practical experience in control and instrumentation from the various engineering turk-key projects we will be involved in from research and design to installations and commissioning. Individuals who are practically able, with no O Levels and are willing to learn more are also accepted. Control and instrumentation is a prestigious career which has been paying better than all skilled trades for a long time before and current trends show that this is still a very good future career. We are currently at the stage of designing practical sustainable Modernized Gold Milling and Photo Voltaic (Solar) Energy Plants at Msasa Industrial Training College and therefore students shall be exposed to real practical environments from a given scope of works. C15 Electrical and instrumentation computer aided industrial plant design drawings.


Designed for practicing, junior and aspiring  engineers and technicians/ artisans in electrical, instrumentation and control, software engineering for PLCs, SCADA and DCS, electrical power engineering and electrical and electronic engineering and university and college graduates not working and current students and lecturers in the alluded disciplines, O and A Level school leavers and semi-skilled are welcome. O and A level school leavers, semi-skilled and other professionals who are first time attendees to this course must have done C1 and C2 or  C12 courses or are in the process of doing the C28 (Control and instrumentation at NC or City and Guilds T1 to T5). C20 Marketing digital design tools for business.

C21 Practicing business computer literacy and application for modern business people.


Designed for organisations, community people, business people and the self-employed who are running their businesses the old and expensive but aspire to run their businesses the modern way on a user friendly platform, easy and cheaper environment. Anyone, without minding the issue of qualifications is welcome. This is a must have course that empowers the today's business people through the simplified ICT skills. Part of the digital content to be covered include the following: Corel draw software to make business cards, fliers, brochures, company profiles, company logos, posters, labels, receipt books, invoice books, etc, MS word, MS excel, internet, basic presentation Apps and smart phones, tablets and i-pads use in business and internet and data cyber crime threat and protection awareness. C23 Practical modern board room and class room presentation IOS/ ANDROID based presentation App.


Specially researched and designed for schools, colleges, universities, students and organisations who carry out training in classrooms and board room presentations and are eager to do this in a modern way of the new ICT technologies. This is a must have course for schools who want to cut costs of presentations to parents and students. This technology creates an easy environment of teaching and presentations to participants. Digital content streaming to participants is in real time and is very convenient. Remote real time presentations are also very possible for convenience sake. Annotation and media management is incorporated as well. No more need for teachers to waste presentation time to students by writing notes for students on the chalk boards. Course title: C24 Practical coded welders at beginners welding and fabrication course.


Course fee: USD250.         Course duration: 10 days.   Weeks frequency per month: 2


Target group profile:


Designed for aspiring junior coded welders who will be capable of also doing basic boiler-making and also run their own backyard boiler-making, general welding and coded welding business for a better livelihood. No need for previous experience and passes in O levels, but having these will be an added advantage. Anyone who is hands-on, eager to learn quickly and begin to earn money through skills development is much welcome. O level leavers and semi-skilled are all invited. Mechanical fitters who would also want to take up coded welding as an upgrade to earning better project rates are also welcome. Coded welders are in serious demand these days in industry globally and are sometimes better paid almost like instrument technicians.


Participants’ pre-requisites:


-Must be naturally technically biased.
-students are encouraged to bring their own laptops and we prefer students who already know how to use a computer for convenient learning though it’s not a must.

-To get other trades and new students who do not have any academic passes and trades to also find 1G coded welding specialized skills that earn them better paying careers with on the job coded welding with fabrication certification with this course being an entry point to fully coded to 1G, 3G and 6G stages. Designed for fully qualified welders, junior coded welders and mechanical fitters who have done C24 course, fully qualified boilermakers and previously certified coded welders who want to become fully certified coded welders.

-Must be have done C24 or are coded welders already but with expired certification.
-students are encouraged to bring their own laptops and we prefer students who already know how to use a computer for convenient learning though it’s not a must.
Course instructions methods:
This is a specialized instructor led course with interactive classroom discussions and associated lab exercises by using individual internet research station, wi-fi, presentation App software, students’ laptops and coded welding machines.
This course is approximately 100% hands-on lab activities.


Course goal and objectives:


-The goal of this course is to retool qualified welders, junior coded welders and mechanical fitters who have done C24 course, fully qualified boilermakers and previously certified coded welders who want to become fully certified coded welders with 1G, 3G and 6G tested to the standards of codes BS 4872, BS EN 287-1, ASME IX and now EN ISO 9606-1. These codes will make our coded welders to be easily employed in world over in industrial new projects and maintenance work on welding high pressure vessels and pipes such as boiler tubes, deodorizers, etc and earn better hourly rates and will also be capable of doing boiler-making, general welding and coded welding backyard business for themselves for a better livelihood in times of no employment.  Coded welders are in serious demand these days in industry globally and are sometimes better paid almost like instrument technicians. Well-polished coded welders are in demand globally.

Designed for fully qualified practicing and junior boilermakers and welders who will be easily employed in industrial new projects and maintenance work on plant site specialized electrical and instrumentation cable racking/ trays fabrication and installation on electrical and instrumentation projects. This course is aimed at increasing job opportunities for mechanical skilled people across trade to electrical and instrumentation. Those who have done C24 Coded welders beginners welding and fabrication course are welcome. We are currently at the stage of designing practical sustainable Modernized Gold Milling and Photo Voltaic (Solar) Energy Plants at Msasa Industrial Training College and therefore you shall be exposed to real practical environments from a given scope of works. C28 Industrial process control and instrumentation NC technician course with intensive P.L.C.s, S.C.A.D.A and D.C.S Systems and other specialized applications in industrial projects.

Designed for O level school leavers with 5 subjects passes at C or better including Maths, English, any science subject or computers. We are still accepting any number of sittings to obtain all 5 required subjects passes. We are currently at the stage of designing practical sustainable Modernized Gold Milling and Photo Voltaic (Solar) Energy Plants at Msasa Industrial Training College and therefore students shall be exposed to real practical environments from a given scope of works. Specially researched and designed for modern churches and organisations who want to replace their inaccurate, tedious, laborious and loss-making manual operations with real-time, automated, user-friendly and on-the-go ICT based automated systems developed by NG and partners. Targeted groups to attend are churches and organisations cashiers, stores and accounts clerks/ supervisors, accountants, buyers, office managers, canteen operators, church and business owners. This is a specialized instructor led course with interactive classroom discussions and associated lab exercises by using individual internet research station, wi-fi, presentation App software, students’ laptops and PV size software tool which helps design PV systems to select optimal solar inverter.
New PV size 2 software tool is for dimensioning and a performance prediction tool for photovoltaic (PV) systems for solar inverter. The tool is intended for customers and system designers for finding proper solar array and inverter combination.
PV size 2 software tool has a totally new user interface providing hints and information for supporting the designer when comparing different system designs and their effect on PV system performance. Additionally this new tool includes system performance prediction capabilities with embedded weather site database.
The database includes complete portfolio of solar inverter, approximately 6500 solar modules, and transformers suitable for central inverter as well as approximately 400 weather data sites around the globe.
This course is approximately 100% hands-on lab activities.
